Terms and Conditions
Quotations Written quotations are available on request and are valid for 45 days unless otherwise stated. Orders All orders must be made or confirmed in writing and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined here. Delivery All delivery dates are approximate and will be charged at cost unless otherwise stated by the company. Payment Terms Non Account Clients Non account clients are expected to pay against pro-forma invoices, prior to the order being put into production. Credit/Debit Card Payments All major credit card are accepted. Non account customers will be expected to pay the full amount of the order, prior to the order being put into production. Credit Account Clients The company requires two trade references and a bank reference before credit facilities can be considered. Additional credit reference agencies may also be used. The company requires full settlement of accounts within 30 days net from the receipt of goods. All overdue accounts are liable at the company's sole discretion, an interest charge of 5% over Lloyds TSB Plc base rates. Interest will be calculated monthly and will be payable before as well as after judgement in any legal action brought against the customer. During this period all credit facilities will be terminated. Returns All returns must be notified within 7 days of delivery. Returns will only be accepted if the goods are faulty. All other returns are not normally accepted unless otherwise stated by the company. In such acceptances a handling charge of 25% will apply. Specifications Dimensions All dimensions are approximate and are as follows unless otherwise stated by the company. Wall Lights Height = Height excluding bulbs Width = Width at the widest point Projection = Maximum projection from the wall Pendants Height = Height excluding chain Width = Maximum overall diameter Table Lamps & Floor Standards Height = Height to top of lampholder, excluding bulbs Width = Width at the widest point Candle Tubes As standard we provide 4-inch candle tubes, unless otherwise stated or specified. These are available in white. Other colours are available to match our products with special finishes. Wiring As standard all products are wired to meet United Kingdom specifications. Other European and continental specifications can be easily met. However, any non-standard United Kingdom specification must be advised in writing before the order is put into production. An additional charge may also be applied. Crystal Our crystal products are available in two crystal specifications: CR - Lead free crystal SCR - Leaded Strass crystal Finishes All products are available in all finishes unless otherwise stated by the company. Standard Finishes These finishes are available at no extra cost: Standard Gilt - SG - Gilt describes a lacquered gold finish and does not imply gold plating. Polished Brass - PB - A polished brass and clear lacquer finish. Toned Brass - TB - A polished brass and dull lacquer finish. Toned Gilt - TG - A dull lacquered gold finish. Special Finishes These finishes are available at extra cost: Hand Finished Antique Gilt - HFAG - A hand finished process, which leaves an aged residue in the detail of the product. A gilt lacquer is then applied. Hand Finished Antique Polished Brass - HFAPB - A hand finished process, which leaves an aged residue in the detail of the product. A clear lacquer is then applied. Hand Finished Antique Silver - HFAS - The product is silver plated and a hand finished process is applied, which leaves an aged residue in the detail of the product. Finally, a clear lacquer is applied. Silver Plate - SP - The product is silver plated, and a clear lacquer is then applied. Butlers Silver - BS - The product is silver plated in a slightly less shiny silver finish, and a clear lacquer is then applied. Bronze Finish - BF - A bronzing finish is applied, and then a clear lacquer is applied. If shown, prices are quoted in £ Pounds Sterling and are subject to VAT at the ruling rate. Please note that due to the limitations of printing and photography, product finishes may vary slightly from those shown. Hand finishes will vary slightly from product to product by definition of their nature of being hand finished.
